What is a “provocation?” How are provocations connected to observation, documentation, and the role of the teacher? Yeshnaya Dougherty, TBS coach, will share examples of provocations used to spark wonder and initiate curriculum, as well as those that act as a response to the children's interests. Participants will walk away with suggestions for how to interpret and develop provocations as a tool for teaching and learning.
